In Act became part of Volunteers Of America in 2007 and in 2010 I started working with youth and families in diverse school districts throughout Clackamas County. I am now continuing to provide services to youth and families at Milwaukie High School with Western.
Individual Substance Use Assessments, counseling sessions and group therapy sessions.
I implement Motivational Interviewing in most all my sessions as is one of the most effective approaches to develop an alliance with the person I want to develop a clinical relationship with. I refer to the Rogerian style as well for support in guidance to better serve others with empathy as a front/main approach utilizing DBT skills.
Some of my favorite hobbies are photography and also driving, hiking, walking in nature and biking.
