Theoretical Orientation
As your therapist, Heidi believes in a psychodynamic, strength-based, cognitive behavioral approach to counseling, which takes into account your culture, life experiences, age and generational influences, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, disability, family influence and sexual orientation. She works to ensure a safe and respectful space, where you will have room to explore your history, thoughts and emotions and discover your strengths and moving toward becoming the person that you want to become.
