Heather Laskaris PsyD (Resident)
Heather is a resident, under the supervision of Chloe Lee-Zorn, PsyD. Heather completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Pacific University. She has experience working with adults, children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds to address a variety of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, life stressors and transitions, and relationship problems.
Individual, group, family counseling.
Heather approaches therapy as a collaborative relationship. She believes each individual has a unique pattern of thinking, feeling, relating, and expressing their needs. Heather seeks to understand a client's individuality within the context of history, family, culture and relationships. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, as she adopts and adapts techniques from various evidence-based treatment methods including attachment, humanistic, cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies. Heather works with her clients to focus on building up strengths and values, while learning practical and effective ways to cope with and manage stressors, improve healthy life habits and relationships, and develop greater personal satisfaction.
I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, nature walks with my dog, listening to music, reading and exercise.
