As your therapist, Heather believes in a holistic, strength-based, systemic and cognitive behavioral approach to therapy. She believes that culture, life experiences, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, race, disability, family influence, gender and sexual orientation impact how people navigate their daily lives. She works to ensure a safe, comfortable and respectful space where families can explore their thoughts and emotions, incorporate strategies that will help them discover their strengths, and create goals and work toward achieving the change that they seek.
Heather enjoys running, baking, crafting, gardening and watching movies with my family. She spends any free time at home because there's not too much of it!
