I hold a BS in Psychology from Corbin University with an emphasis on family studies and a MA, in Marriage, Family, Therapy from George Fox University. I have training in specializing in ADHD as well. Prior to beginning with Western Psychological Counseling Services I held a private practice in a group setting for 3 years.
Services Offered
Individual, Group, Family counseling.
Theoretical Orientation
I use strengths based and person centered therapy approach while working with individuals and utilize a combination of Gottman skills and EFT while working with family and couples. I believe that one approach does not fit each individual and cater my approach according to each individuals needs. It is common for me to sprinkle in skills and tools from CBT, DBT, ACT and other forms of therapy.
More Information
When away from my work, I very much enjoy any form of activity that is near or on the water. I am a lover of the outdoors and a lover of my pug. I also keep active as a mother of two boys with my spouse. I am a lover of shoes and all things impractical and every once in a while, I call myself a runner.
