George Fox Counseling Program, MA in Marriage and Family Therapy; Warner Pacific. BS in Social Work. Previously volunteered in Residential Program with domestic violence survivors as well as co-facilitating groups for perpetrators. Practicum at both Community Mental Health and private practice locations.
Florence is under the supervision of Matthew Lauzon, LCSW.

Theoretical Orientation
Adlerian, with a family systems perspective. I carry the belief that the client is and will always be the expert in their own lives, therefore all therapeutic work is conducted collaboratively. Additional orientations: Attachment, DBT and play therapy.
More Information
I am a very tactile person and my hobbies reflect this; anything I can get my hands on including sewing, knitting, embroidery, cross-stitch, gardening, cooking. In addition, I greatly enjoy the outdoors and will get outside to explore anytime I can, and nearly in any weather conditions.
