Education
I hold a master's degree in science from the department of Education from the University of Arkansas. The program is a CACREP accredited with an emphasis on human growth, major counseling theories, enhancing and promoting diversity, professional orientation and ethics, group and family dynamics, and social justice, equity, and equality.
Services Offered
Individual Therapy. I will see couples, but I interview clients prior to taking them for couples' therapy.
Theoretical Orientation
I utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in combination with Existentialism and Client-Centered approaches. Psycho-educating about the thought process and addressing negative thoughts, help clients to make healthy choices and to feel more comfortable with such decisions and to take ownership of their own actions and/or decisions. Treatment goals are based on the clients' needs and is an on-going and collaborative process.
