Theoretical Orientation
Hi and welcome to my profile. Here at WPCS there are many options for providers and that can feel a bit overwhelming. Hopefully this can help you decide If I would be a good fit for you. I believe a counseling relationship is one of the most important relationships one can develop. It is certainly a privilege for me to be entrusted to help others during difficult times in their life. I use a variety of modalities depending on what is most helpful for the person at that time. The modalities I typically use are dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, EMDR, a family systems and trauma informed approach to therapy. It takes a lot of courage to engage and participate in therapy. Congratulations for taking the first step. I work with all mental health conditions and specialize in a few. I specialize in addictions, eating disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, and perinatal/postpartum disorders. I also run group, do family therapy, and couples counseling. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Take good care.
