Elizabeth Tafesse BCBA
Elizabeth is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Tampa, and her degree of Master of Education in Special Education from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts, Elizabeth taught in Massachusetts for five years in a substantially separate classroom for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Elizabeth also has five years of experience working with adults with various disabilities.
Intensive 1:1, individual, group, community and family treatment for those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Elizabeth conducts ABA therapy which uses evidence based intervention to help individuals including those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. Treatment includes therapeutic techniques including applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior approach. She uses evidence-based interventions such as antecedent-based intervention (ABI), discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), functional communication training (FCT), pivotal response training (PRT) and social skills training for treatment of social and behavioral issues for children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.
