Deidre Daly MS, LPC
I am a graduate from Portland State University where I received my MS in Counseling specializing in Couples, Marriage and Family Therapy. During part of my time in the Graduate Program I counseled individuals and couples that were struggling with a variety of mental health needs for 6 months at the Portland State Counseling Clinic . For the following six months I provided peer supervision to a student counselor and collaborated with them to aid in their counseling development and skills. During my last year of Graduate School I was a Family Therapist Intern at Youth Contact where I helped at risk adolescents who were referred to me through the school system and/or the Washington Juvenile Department due to their struggles with substances use and other mental health issues. At Youth Contact I was trained in and practiced Strategic and Structural family therapy. Lastly I have past experience working in 7th and 8th grade behavioral classrooms as well as working as an Assistant Activities Director with at risk youth at a Boys and Girls club.
I offer counseling services to Individuals, Couples and Families.
I am a Systems theorist who uses an eclectic approach to meet with each client's unique needs.
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, taking day trips to the beach and the mountains, traveling to New England (where I grew up), sports, going out to eat, music, reading and laughing.
