David Kline PsyD
Education
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and received my Doctorate (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University, and before that I received my B.S. in Psychological Sciences from Oregon State University.
Services Offered
Individual therapy.
Theoretical Orientation
I practice from multiple theoretical perspectives and orientations due to finding a breadth of theory has allowed me to work more effectively with clients and to work with a variety of concerns people bring into therapy. I specifically integrate trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive care within as much of my practice as possible as I personally and professional desire to create a comfortable and safe environment for clients to approach difficult elements of their histories at their own pace and with intact agency.
Specific theoretical orientations include: Psychodynamic/Psychoanalysis, Humanistic Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Behaviorism/Behavior Modification.
More Information
When I am not practicing psychotherapy I am probably with my family or friends likely outdoors, playing music, playing video games, or cleaning up after my dog. I love the Pacific Northwest and have much left to explore.
