Daniel Rothenberg LCSW
Dan began working as a child therapist in 2011, after receiving his Master of Social Work from California State Northridge. Prior to attending graduate school, Dan was a standup comedian for 15 years. This career change was due to his desire to focus his creativity and humor on helping young people confront the same challenges he did such as social anxiety, bullying and addiction. Dan's first post-graduate position was at Penny Lane Centers in Los Angeles, CA where he worked with foster and probation youth for 7 years. In the process, he received his LCSW and added the specialties of depression, trauma, divorce and adoption. Dan provides a therapeutic environment that is collaborative, empowering and creative in order to make young people feel respected and understood. He believes in guiding young people to their authentic strengths rather
