Corey Fadenrecht LPC, LMHC
Corey received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University's School of Professional Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Portland. Corey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon. Corey's counseling experience includes working with children, adolescents, families, and adults over the last four years. She specializes in treating children and teens experiencing mental health concerns and supporting families in finding ways to increase overall functioning. Corey also has experience working in a variety of other mental health settings, including a dual-diagnosis treatment center with men struggling with substance use and mental health concerns, as well as a residential treatment facility for adults experiencing persistent mental illness.

Corey's counseling approach integrates several therapeutic styles including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Collaborative Problem Solving. Corey believes that each client holds unique value, has individual strengths, and is capable of growth and change. She focuses on the individual needs of each client, and works on identifying and building on strengths in order to foster resiliency and improving overall functioning. Corey views relationships as extremely meaningful and tries to incorporate the family into the counseling process as much as possible. She uses humor, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic understanding to create an open and safe environment that cultivates feelings of hope and allows for change.
Corey enjoys being active, participating in outdoor activities, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
