Individual and group therapy services, as well as substance use disorder evaluations at Gladstone C. Substance use disorder services and individual therapy within Gresham schools.
My training, education and experience has led me to recognize and understand the extensive connection between trauma, family systems, mental health issues and substance use. In working with my clients, I intend to help them recognize the dynamic and complex origins of their substance use issues, primarily in order to minimize shame, blame and guilt about their use, so that they can understand the importance of family/social connections in establishing long-term recovery. I align with the psychodynamic theories of psychology, but also integrate spirituality and education on resilience to develop an objective but supportive therapeutic alliance.
I enjoy playing golf, snowboarding, traveling, meditation, and spending time in nature.
