Education
In 1990 Cate graduated from Wayne state university(Detroit Michigan). During her 25+ years of being a social worker, she has worked with children and families in numerous settings. This includes outpatient community mental health, schools, primary care and medical specialty clinics. Over the last two years, her practice has included working with adults on an individual basis.

Theoretical Orientation
CBT, family /strengths based therapy and motivational interviewing are the core of Cate's theoretical orientation. Over the last two years, she has learned more regarding trauma informed care, and the impact trauma has on individuals and family members.

27 years ago I moved to the PNW. So glad I did! In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with my family which includes our two very naughty cats!
