Education

I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of WA. I received my masters degree in professional mental health counseling from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. I have experience working with a broad range of clients from various walks of life. Before joining Western Psychological I worked with adolescents and young adults with anxiety and/or depression. I also have experience working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, abuse histories and relationship challenges.

Services Offered

Individual and Group Counseling.

Theoretical Orientation

I utilize a combination of frameworks and techniques that address behaviors, thoughts, emotions, relationship patterns and personal history to work towards therapeutic goals. The experiences we have throughout our lives impact the way we experience ourselves, others and the world around us. Therefore I collaborate with Clients to discover how one's past is impacting their present lives, and what changes can be made in order to experience more peace and alignment. I also always incorporate a psycho-social lens while providing therapy to help my Client's explore how culture and society has influenced personal experience and sense of self.  I serve individuals who wish to seek guidance, a place to be vulnerable and the opportunity to grow. I provide therapy for all genders who are 16 years old and older. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, chronic relationship challenges, women's mental health, domestic violence and emotional/psychological abuse.

More Information

In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, exercise, snowboarding, and taking long walks in the city. I enjoy trying new food and drinking coffee so much that I consider eating and coffee drinking a hobby. I also love to travel the world and learn about different places, cultures and ways of life. Indoor hobbies (besides drinking coffee and eating food) include knitting, jewelry making, reading and of course TV series watching.
