Brittany Neighbours LPC
I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon, and my B.A. in Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. I completed my counseling internship at Outside In in Portland, OR, and worked in community mental health for 6 years. I have also received additional training in Reichian somatic psychotherapy and treatments for anxiety disorders and traumatic stress.
Individual and Group Counseling
I approach counseling as a collaborative process between the client and the therapist. I follow an integrated counseling orientation with a strong emphasis on process-oriented, somatic, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based methods. My hope is to help you develop a greater understanding and acceptance of your internal processes, while also feeling empowered to identify barriers to growth and make adjustments as needed.
In my personal time, I enjoy going for walks and hikes, seeing live music, dancing, singing karaoke, and spending time with my family, friends, and kittens.
