Ben Wilson LCSW
Ben (he/him) earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Education from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2003 and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Southern California in 2017. He is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, #10618) in the State of Oregon. Prior to his graduate studies Ben worked in Developmental Disabilities, Children’s Wrap Around Services, and Social Security Disability Determination Services. Since graduating with his MSW, Ben has worked with college students at University of California San Diego, transition age youth living with HIV at UC San Diego Health System, in multiple Residential Treatment Programs for children and adolescents in Oregon, Washington and California; and also works at Randall Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon as a Pediatric Social Worker.

Ben believes that all services and treatment must be client-centered and client-driven. He ascribes to trauma-informed care as well as cultural humility in delivery of mental health therapy and services to his clients. Utilizing systems theory as well as attachment theory approaches, Ben partners with his clients to develop and reach their goals and objectives, and the most important part, to get better and improve their lives!!
Ben enjoys spending time with his partner, family, and friends. He also loves cooking (particularly BBQ), hiking, traveling, especially to anywhere that's a beach, and is very passionate about LGBTQ and gender diversity issues as well as HIV treatment and support
