LPC, CADCIII (Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III). Master of Arts in Counseling, George Fox University 2010, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Portland State University. Barbara has previous experience working in an outpatient treatment environment and also in community mental health.

Barbara's therapeutic approach is integrative and strength-based. She utilizes tools from cognitive-behavioral schools of thought, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, with both having a strong focus of mindfulness. She is also trained in Motivational Interviewing, which uses a collaborative approach to help facilitate clients through stages of change.
