Theoretical Orientation
Tailored to the needs of each individual client and/or group dynamic, I use tools from many therapeutic practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. I believe in a client centered approach for successful recovery, using Motivational Interviewing and a goal oriented style in the treatment setting.
More Information
I understand the process of recovery is challenging, I know that change is possible, and I feel blessed to support and encourage those seeking health and wholeness.
I appreciate spending time in the great outdoors, especially hiking the many trails available here in Oregon. I play piano and enjoy composing as well. Time with friends and family is treasured, and my grandchildren keep me busy, entertained, and forever young!
