Theoretical Orientation
Angela approaches therapy from a relational and trauma-informed perspective. She believes that relationships are important to the healing process. She also draws upon motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral concepts, and offers EMDR when needed. She believes in the dignity of each person, and the capacity of each person to make positive changes. It is important to Angela that therapy be a collaborative effort, in which she and her clients work together to identify and achieve goals.
More Information
I am a lover of nature and enjoy being outdoors. From working in my yard, to hiking in the Gorge or walking along the Columbia River, I find that being in nature is restorative and energizing. I also enjoy music in many forms – listening to it, singing, or playing the piano.
