Angela Rosson LMHC
Angela is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington. She has a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Mental Health & Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Angela has clinical experience in an outpatient therapy/clinic setting, as well as home-based mental health intervention for families involved in the child welfare system. She has practiced as a professional therapist for the past sixteen years.
Angela offers individual therapy for teens and adults. When appropriate, she includes family members in the process.
Angela approaches therapy from a relational and trauma-informed perspective. She believes that relationships are important to the healing process. She also draws upon motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral concepts, and offers EMDR when needed. She believes in the dignity of each person, and the capacity of each person to make positive changes. It is important to Angela that therapy be a collaborative effort, in which she and her clients work together to identify and achieve goals.
I am a lover of nature and enjoy being outdoors. From working in my yard, to hiking in the Gorge or walking along the Columbia River, I find that being in nature is restorative and energizing. I also enjoy music in many forms – listening to it, singing, or playing the piano.
