Amy Tran LPC
I have Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and Spanish and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from George Fox University. Following earning my bachelor's degrees, I worked in residential psychiatric treatment programs for children and adolescents for several years and returned to school in order to be more involved with supporting children, adolescents, and their families. As a therapist, I have worked with children and families in clinic, school-based, and community-based settings.
Individual, family, and group counseling
I work from a person-centered and child-centered perspective, meaning that I believe individuals and families are the experts in their lives and have within them what they need in order to achieve the outcomes they want. My role is to support people in finding and doing what works well for them in order to reach the desired goal.
I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, cooking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
