Alyssa Phillipe MA, BCBA, LBA
Alyssa is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and obtained her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She later completed intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) courses through the Florida Institute of Technology. Alyssa has previous training in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a wide range of clinical disorders, personality disorders, and intellectual disabilities. She has completed internships in adult inpatient psychotherapy, as well as counseling children and adults with ASD.
In-home, intensive 1:1, community and family treatment for those affected by ASD
Alyssa employs several different therapy techniques including ABA and Verbal Behavior Approach. She uses evidence-based treatments for children and families affected by ASD. Treatments include: Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Functional Communication Training (FCT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Precision Teaching, and Social Skills Training.
