Adam Herreid LMHC, LPC, NCC
Adam is aLicensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington, and a National Certified Counselor. He received his Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a candidate for a Doctorate of Behavioral Health Degree. He has prvided psychotherapy services in community mental health, corrections and medical settings treating a variety of mental and emotional health concerns. Adam has spent many years working in corrections and understands the challenges indivuduals and families have when facin sentencing as well as reintegrating back into the community after incarceration. His current intersts include bridging the gap between physical medicine and mental health care to demonstrate greater improvements in health outcomes.
Individual therapy for adult and adolescents; group counseling, and family counseling.
Treatment modalities include research based behavioral interventions. CBT, DBT, and solution focused brief therapy. Each client is unique and will respond to treatments differently. Adam believes it is important to provide therapy that is evidence based, aligned with the client's personality, and artfully delivered.
In his free time he enjoys riding his motorcycle, working around the house, being outdoors, and trying new things.
